Join us for the IFC award ceremony featuring the presentation of the Julie J. Boucher Community Honor Roll Award for Intellectual Freedom and the Julie J. Boucher Memorial Award for Intellectual Freedom to individuals who have shown courage and dedication in advocating for the freedom of ideas and access to information.
This is followed by our IFC Keynote Speaker, Breeze Richardson, the Executive Director of Aspen Public Radio since June 2021. Breeze is a fierce advocate for local journalism and is a national leader in strengthening public radio's role in emergency preparedness, especially in rural communities. The awards and keynote will celebrate the people and principles that make intellectual freedom possible, and remind us that protecting the freedom to think, read, question, and learn is a shared responsibility.
